Amy Taylor, MRM — Director, Public Sector Services
Amy Taylor is the Director of the Public Sector Services program of the Pembina Institute's Consulting Group. Amy joined the Institute in May 2000, and has since completed numerous projects on ecological fiscal reform, natural capital valuation, environmental resource accounting and sustainability indicators. More specifically, she has worked on projects dealing with subjects such as tax and subsidy reform, economic rent from natural resources, Genuine Progress Indicators and environmental taxes. As a senior staff person at the Pembina Institute, Amy has led numerous projects for the organization and thus has extensive project and staff management experience. She has worked with an array of other groups including government, industry, and non-government organizations. Ms Taylor holds an honours undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Economics and a Masters in Resource Environmental Management.
Mike Kennedy, M.Sc. — Senior Resource Economist, Public Sector Services
Mike Kennedy is a Senior Resource Economist with the Pembina Institute’s Green Economics and Policy Group. Mike's research work involves providing policy advice to government, private corporations and other non-government organizations in Canada and abroad. Mike advises on policy issues related to natural resource valuation, ecological goods and service provision and carbon pricing and tax policy for natural resource sectors. Mike holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of New Brunswick in forestry with a concentration in natural resource and environmental economics.
